FALCON EYE

Autonomous vision-guided one-way attack drone (kamikaze) with touchscreen target selection and automatic AI selection by target type, built to run on Ardupilot fixed-wing drones.

FALCON EYE is an autonomous vision-guided strike drone - a one-way attack (kamikaze) platform that sees, locks onto, and engages a target by itself. It is built to run on fixed-wing drones using the Ardupilot autopilot, and the entire mission is operated from a standard web browser.

Main modules and capabilities, in order:

1. Visual Sense & AI Detection
The drone carries a live camera whose feed is analysed in real time by built-in artificial intelligence. Possible targets - aircraft, ground vehicles, or personnel - are detected automatically the moment they appear, and the live feed can be watched directly on a laptop or computer screen.

2. Target Selection & Hard Lock
Two ways to choose the target:
- Manual selection via touchscreen: the operator simply touches or clicks the target directly on the touchscreen of a laptop or computer displaying the live video feed.
- Automatic AI selection by type: the artificial intelligence can be configured to automatically select its target according to a predefined target type - for example only aircraft, only ground vehicles, or only personnel - and focus exclusively on matching targets.
Once the target is selected, the system locks onto it strictly, follows its every movement, and ignores everything else in the frame. If the target is briefly hidden or moving fast, the system predicts its position and keeps the lock until the target reappears.

3. Vision Guidance on Ardupilot Fixed-Wing
The target position on the camera image is converted continuously into flight commands sent to the Ardupilot flight controller of the fixed-wing drone many times per second. The drone adjusts its course automatically to keep following the target - no GPS or maps are needed, so it stays effective where GPS is unavailable or blocked.

4. Smooth Engagement
When the operator activates engagement, the drone increases thrust gradually and commits to closing in on the target. The ramp is smooth and controlled, producing a stable and precise terminal approach that is difficult to evade.

5. Live Telemetry
Position, altitude, speed, battery level, and flight mode are streamed and displayed live, so the operator always knows the exact state of the drone throughout the mission.

6. Browser-Based Control
The live video, target selection, engagement switch, and all settings are accessible from any web browser - laptop, tablet, or phone - with no special software to install, including touchscreen devices.

7. Operator Authority at All Times
Automation assists but never replaces the operator: the AI can be overridden, a different target can be selected manually, or the mission can be stopped instantly at any moment.

8. Mission Flexibility & Persistence
Multiple engagement profiles with different speed and thrust levels can be prepared in advance and switched instantly before or during a mission, and all settings are saved automatically across power cycles.
