ORBIT SATELLITE connects any ArduPilot aircraft to a satellite network - Starlink or Iridium - and gives you full command and control from anywhere on the planet. Wherever you are and wherever your aircraft is, the link stays connected through space without interruption.
The software is ready and easy to use: you connect the unit to the autopilot of your drone, and the connection is established automatically. No complex setup, no ground radio range, no distance limit.
The system works in sections, in order:
1. Universal ArduPilot Installation
ORBIT SATELLITE works with the entire ArduPilot family - fixed-wing, multirotor, VTOL, and every ArduPilot-supported drone type. It installs directly onto the autopilot, detects the platform automatically, and begins communicating with the satellite network on its own.
2. Satellite Connectivity (Starlink & Iridium)
The drone is linked to the operator through the satellite constellation itself - Starlink or Iridium. Because the connection travels through space, it does not matter if you are on one side of the world and the drone is on the other: the signal reaches it regardless of distance or ground location.
3. Full Command & Control
From your screen, through any standard ground-control program or tool - such as Mission Planner, QGroundControl, or other popular platforms - you send any flight command to your drone: set waypoints and route points, order landing or take-off positions, command turns, circles, loiter and holding patterns, or any other flight action. Every order is transmitted instantly to the autopilot and executed immediately.
4. Uninterrupted Global Telemetry
Position, altitude, speed, heading, battery, flight mode, and every sensor reading are streamed back to you continuously. The link is designed to stay connected without drops even when the drone is on the other side of the world, so you always see the real, live state of your aircraft.
5. Live Video Streaming
The drone's camera feed is sent to your screen in real time over the same satellite link. You watch what the drone sees live with no distance limit, exactly as if you were onboard - from any location on Earth.
6. Ready & Easy to Use
The program is delivered complete and simple: attach it to the ArduPilot autopilot and the link starts automatically. If you can operate a drone, you can operate ORBIT SATELLITE - no special training or complex configuration required.
